Capture The Flag: The event will be a jeopardy-style CTF where the participants will have to solve challenges of the following categories:

-Binary Exploitation / Pwn
-Reverse Engineering
-Web Application Exploitation
-Cryptography
-Digital Forensics and Steganography
-Miscellaneous

Team will comprise of at-least 2 members and a maximum of 3 members. For Students based teams, all 2-3 members must be currently enrolled students. Whereas, for the rest, there is no such compulsion. Students will have a separate scoreboard and professionals will have a separate scoreboard, i.e. two different categories.

Showdown:
For Showdown, teams will nominate an individual based on the category of the coming challenge informed by arbiter. The following categories will be available: Binary Exploitation / Pwn Reverse Engineering Web Application Exploitation

After nominating, each team's member will face the opponent team's member one-on-one. First one to hack and run ./submitter will be considered the winner and move on to the next round. Since Showdown is a Single Elimination competition, the losing team will be eliminated on spot. Each challenge will have 1 hour time and hints will automatically release after 30, 40 and 50 minutes respectively. In case the challenge is not solved within 1 hour, a Sudden Death challenge will be released which will be solvable within 5 minutes.

NOTE: Recommended team composition is as follows:
-> 1 person for Pwn, 1 for Web and 1 for Reversing to cater for on-site Showdown.
-> For Showdown, there will NOT be division based on categories.
-> Top 10 teams from Students category and Top 10 teams from Professional category will qualify for on-site Finale and Showdown.

NOTE: Round 1 of CTF will be held online on 19th October 2024
Final will be held at Air University, Islamabad on 14th November 2024
